Given the Edward & Sally Van Lier Grant by the New York Community Trust upon arrival at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance for Choreography, Sierra presented work for The Martha Graham School Fall'18 & Spring'19 Show Cases.
In 2021, Sierra created her first Dance film that received funding from Dance New Jersey and premiered in Acadia Dance Festival in Acadia, Maine. This is the first of many to come in her career expansion as an artist & dance film maker.
